How to Check Price History on Flipkart, Step by Step
Flipkart shows no price graph we could find. How to check a Flipkart product's price history with Google, Chrome, free tools and a 30-day log.

How do you check price history on Flipkart?
We found no price-history graph on Flipkart's own product pages, so check it another way. Use Google price tracking or Chrome's Shopping insights, try a free tool such as BuyHatke or PriceBefore, or log the price and date yourself for 30 days. Then compare today's price with the usual and lowest price, not the crossed-out MRP.
That is the short answer. The rest of this page covers what Flipkart does and does not show, each method step by step, and what none of them can tell you. For all three big stores in one place, see how to check price history on Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra. This page stays on Flipkart.
Does Flipkart show price history?
We could not confirm that it does. On 20 October 2026 we searched for a Flipkart help page, announcement or news report about a built-in price graph and found none, only third-party tools and how-to blogs. We could not open every version of the Flipkart app, so look under the price on a product page yourself.
What a Flipkart listing does show is a current price, a crossed-out reference price, a percentage-off figure, and sometimes a sale label. None of those is a history. They describe today's page, not the weeks before it.
| Item on the page | What it tells you | What it does not tell you |
|---|---|---|
| Selling price | What you pay for that seller and variant right now | What it cost last week |
| Crossed-out price | A reference price, often the MRP | A price the item recently sold at |
| Percent off | The gap to the crossed-out price | Whether the gap is a real saving |
| Sale label | That a deal or timer is running | How the price compares with recent days |
| Price graph | We could not confirm one exists | Not applicable |
How do I check Flipkart price history with Google or Chrome?
Google price tracking and Chrome's Shopping insights both list India as supported. Google's separate price-insights label is described as US-only. Chrome's Shopping insights can show a product's price history and range if you are signed in, sync tabs and history, and turn on "Make searches and browsing better". Google's price tracking sends an alert when a product drops below your target. Neither is guaranteed to cover every Flipkart listing.
The steps:
- Search for the exact product name on Google and open its product card.
- If a price insight appears on the card, it says whether the price is low, typical or high. Google's help page for that feature says it is available to shoppers in the US, so Indian users may not see it. Price tracking (step 3) does list India.
- Choose Track price on the card, set a target price, and pick a size or colour if asked.
- In Chrome, sign in and turn on the settings above, then look for Shopping insights on a product page.
Google says its price insights feature "doesn't predict how a price may change in the future". Where an insight does appear, Google says it builds the typical price from sellers across the web, not only Flipkart, so the number may not match the Flipkart seller you pick. Google's help page does not list which merchants are covered, so a given Flipkart listing may simply not appear.
Which free third-party tools show Flipkart price history?
Three Indian tools say on their own sites that they cover Flipkart: BuyHatke, PriceBefore and Flipshope. All three call themselves free. These are vendor claims, we have not tested them, and a tool can only show days it has recorded. Treat any graph as a second opinion, not proof.
| Tool | How you use it (its claim) | Cost (its claim) | Our caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| BuyHatke | Chrome extension and mobile app; lists Flipkart among supported sites | Extension: free. App price not stated | |
| PriceBefore | Search by name or paste an Amazon or Flipkart link; says it plots Flipkart listing history | Free; alerts need a free account | |
| Flipshope | Extension, app and website; price history on supported stores | Says it is totally free |
Before you install anything that reads shopping pages, read what it asks to access. Our guide to whether price tracker extensions are safe in India lists what to check, and the price tracker comparison lays out coverage side by side.
A simple trust test: pick a product you already logged yourself (see the next section), and see if the tool's graph matches your notes. If it does not, do not rely on it for a purchase.
How do I keep a 30-day Flipkart price log?
This needs no tool and works on any listing. Open the product, note the price, and repeat on different days for 30 days. It takes under a minute per item and gives you a dated record that no label can.
- Open the exact listing. Same seller, same colour, same size or storage. A different variant can have a different price.
- Write four things: date, selling price in ₹, seller name and any sale label. A screenshot also works.
- Do it on different days, ideally every two or three days. Daily is better for items you may buy within a week.
- After 30 days, find two numbers: the typical price (the one that shows up most) and the lowest price.
- Note the last week separately. A run-up to a sale shows there.
- Compare on the day. Today's price against the typical and the lowest, not against the MRP.
A spreadsheet with four columns is enough. Keep it to the five or ten items you might really buy.
How do I read a Flipkart discount with an example?
Compare the sale price with the typical price in your log, not with the MRP. The real saving is the gap between those two. The numbers below are illustrative only and are not a real listing, but they show how a 43% off badge can hide a price that is no cheaper than usual.
Say a pair of headphones shows MRP ₹2,999 and a sale price of ₹1,699, labelled 43% off. Your log shows these prices:
| Period | Price in your log | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 23 | Mostly ₹1,599 | Typical price |
| Lowest in 30 days | ₹1,549 | One day only |
| Days 24 to 27 (run-up) | ₹1,799 | Higher just before the sale |
| Sale day | ₹1,699 | Badge shows 43% off |
The badge maths: (₹2,999 − ₹1,699) ÷ ₹2,999 ≈ 43%. That compares with the MRP.
Your log tells a different story. Against the typical price, ₹1,699 is ₹100 more, about 6% above ₹1,599. Against the run-up price of ₹1,799 it looks ₹100 cheaper, which can make the sale feel like a deal even though the badge itself only compares with the MRP. Counted against your own record, there is no saving at all, and the sale price is ₹100 above normal, not ₹1,300 below the MRP.
This is exactly the case the pre-sale price rise check covers in more detail. A rise like this can have ordinary causes, such as stock or repricing, so it is a reason to wait or compare, not proof of anything.
How do I read Flipkart sale labels and lowest-price tags?
Treat a label as a timer or a mechanism, not a history. Flipkart sale labels such as Price Crash or Tick Tock Deals describe how or when a deal runs, as covered in our post on Flipkart sale labels explained, checked on 8 October 2026. None of them says what the item sold for last month.
Two cautions:
- A "lowest price" style tag is unexplained unless Flipkart says which dates it covers. We could not find such a definition. Ask: lowest since when, for which seller, and for which variant?
Your 30-day log answers those three questions because you set the window.
Is the Big Billion Days price really the lowest?
Sometimes, but the event name does not decide it. One outside audit says most tracked products did get cheaper, and a minority were raised first. That is a reason to check each item, not to trust or distrust the whole sale.
PriceHistory.app, a price-history site that also sells its own tracking app, says it audited 183 tracked Flipkart products across the 2024 and 2025 sales. It reports that 83% had a lowest sale price below their earlier selling price, and 19% were marked up beforehand, which it defines as a run-up median more than 2% above the month before. We have not checked these figures. The site also says it uses selling prices, not MRP, may miss very short flash sales, and is indicative rather than complete.
For the weeks around a sale:
- Start your log at least 30 days before the event if you know what you want.
- Do not rely on one day's price in the run-up.
- Compare the sale price with your typical price, then decide.
- Check delivery, seller and variant at checkout. Bank offers change the final price, so count them separately.

Flipkart par price history kaise check kare?
Flipkart par humein koi official price history graph nahi mila (20 Oct 2026 tak). Isliye Google price tracking ya Chrome ke Shopping insights use kijiye, jahan product dikhta ho. Free tool jaise BuyHatke ya PriceBefore bhi try kar sakte hain, par yeh unke apne claims hain.
Sabse bharosemand tarika apna 30 din ka log hai. Roz ya do-teen din mein price, date aur seller likhiye. Phir sale ke din us price ko "typical" aur "lowest" price se compare kijiye, MRP se nahi. Ek hi seller aur ek hi variant dekhiye.
Which Flipkart price-history method should you pick?
Pick by how soon you need to buy. If it is today, use Google or Chrome insights or a tool for a quick read. If you can wait a few weeks, start a log. If the item is expensive, use two methods and see if they agree.
| Method | Best for | Main limit |
|---|---|---|
| Google or Chrome insights | A fast read on a popular product | May not cover your listing or seller |
| Free third-party tool | A graph with earlier days | Vendor claims, untested; history depends on when it started |
| Your own 30-day log | Items you may buy in a month | Starts from zero; misses brief dips |
| Sale label or percent off | Knowing a deal is running | Not a price history at all |
What can this method not tell you?
- It cannot show the past you did not record. A log starts when you start it.
- A tool's history is only what it saw. It can miss a price that lasted a few hours, and a short history is a weak signal.
- A rise is not proof of intent. Stock, seller changes and repricing all move prices.
- It cannot predict the next price. Google says so for its own feature, and the same holds for any chart.
- A different seller or variant may have a different history. Match them.
- Checkout can change the total. Delivery, coupons and bank offers sit outside the listing price.
- It does not check whether the product is any good. Price history says nothing about quality.
Where will HAULS fit?
HAULS is in closed beta. The browser extension is with invited testers, is not public, and has no price data for you today. When released, it is meant to show the prices it has observed for a product over time, so a sale price can be compared with recent weeks. A price it has not watched is meant to be shown as unknown, never guessed.
HAULS has a commercial interest in this topic, and we would rather say so. For the store page, see the Flipkart product price history page. If you want to hear when the extension ships, join the waitlist.
How this page was checked
Last verified: 20 October 2026. The Google, Chrome, BuyHatke, PriceBefore, Flipshope and PriceHistory.app pages were read on that date, and vendor statements are reported as their claims. We could not load Flipkart's sale-label page that day, so label wording relies on our earlier post. We have not tested any third-party tool. The rupee example is illustrative and its arithmetic was checked. If anything here is out of date, tell us through the about page and we will correct it.
Frequently asked questions
How to check price history on Flipkart?
We could not find a price-history graph on Flipkart's own product pages, so we do not describe one. Check your own app in case it has changed. Otherwise use Google price tracking, Chrome's Shopping insights, a free third-party tool, or note the price and date yourself for 30 days.
Does Flipkart show price history?
We could not confirm it. We found no Flipkart help page or announcement for a price graph, only third-party tools. That does not prove none exists in your app version, so look under the price on a product page. If you see one, treat it as the best source.
What is Flipkart price history?
It is the record of what a Flipkart listing charged on earlier days, such as the usual price, the lowest price and any rise before a sale. Flipkart does not show it as far as we could confirm, so it comes from a tool, Google or your own dated notes.
Flipkart par price history kaise check kare?
Flipkart par humein koi official price history graph nahi mila (20 Oct 2026 tak). Google price tracking ya Chrome ke Shopping insights use kijiye, ya BuyHatke jaisa free tool try kijiye. Ya phir 30 din tak roz price, date aur seller note kijiye aur sale ke din us se compare kijiye.
Which free tool shows Flipkart price history?
BuyHatke, PriceBefore and Flipshope each say on their own sites that they show Flipkart price history, and each says it is free to use in some form. We have not tested any of them, and the claims are theirs. Check a known product against your own notes before you trust one.
What is Flipkart rate history, and is it the same thing?
Yes. People who search for Flipkart rate history mean price history: what an item cost on earlier days. The method is the same. Compare today's price with the typical and lowest price from the previous 30 days, not with the crossed-out price.
Is the lowest price on Flipkart shown anywhere?
We could not find a Flipkart page that defines a lowest-price tag or says which dates it covers. Without that, a tag cannot replace a history. Ask what window it compares against. Google or Chrome insights and your own log give a window you can see.
Are Big Billion Days prices really lower?
Often, on one outside audit, but not always. PriceHistory.app says that across 183 tracked Flipkart products in 2024 and 2025, 83% had a lower sale price than before and 19% were first marked up. These are its claims. Check each item you want.
Can I see the price history of a product I never opened before?
Only if a tool or Google was already recording that listing. Your own log starts the day you begin it. For a new product, a tool may show earlier days, but how far back depends on when it started watching, which you cannot always see.
Does a price history tell me if the price will fall again?
No. Google says its price insights feature does not predict how a price may change. History shows what already happened, which helps you judge today's price. It cannot promise a cheaper price next week.
Does HAULS show Flipkart price history today?
No. HAULS is in closed beta, its browser extension is not public and it has no price data for you to use today. It is meant to show prices it has observed over time once released. Until then, the methods on this page work without it.
