These terms cover the HAULS website and waitlist as they exist today, and set out how the browser extension and Android app will be governed once each one actually launches. Where something hasn’t shipped yet, it’s marked as planned.
By using HAULS.in, joining the waitlist, or later using the HAULS browser extension or Android app, you’re agreeing to the terms on this page. Read them alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers what data HAULS collects and why.
HAULS is built and operated by Vishwajeet Trivedi, an individual founder, not a registered company. Everywhere else in these terms, HAULS is referred to as “HAULS,” “we,” or “us.”
Using HAULS.in, submitting the waitlist form, or installing and using the extension or app once either launches, means you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use HAULS.
HAULS is being built as a consumer intelligence tool: a browser extension that shows price history and discount analysis on supported shopping sites, and a wishlist and price-alert system, followed later by an Android app for grocery barcode and ingredient checks. Today, before any of that has shipped, HAULS.in is an informational and waitlist site. Nothing beyond joining the waitlist is live yet, and pages that preview the extension, pricing, or checkout say so explicitly.
You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist or use HAULS. We don’t currently verify age technically; by signing up, you’re confirming you meet this requirement.
HAULS doesn’t have accounts or logins today. The signup page shows a “Continue with Google” option, but it is disabled and marked “coming soon”; it does not currently create an account or connect to Google. When account sign-in launches, this section will be updated with the specific rules that come with having one, including how to close an account and what happens to your data when you do.
The pricing page describes a planned Free tier and a planned Pro tier at ₹199/year. Neither is live as a paid subscription today: HAULS does not currently process any payment, and no payment processor is connected to the site. The “Go Pro” checkout page says this directly and routes you to the same waitlist instead of a real charge.
Nothing on HAULS.in can charge you money today. If that ever changes, it won’t happen silently.
When paid plans actually launch, this section will be replaced with the real billing, renewal, and cancellation terms tied to whichever payment processor we integrate, consistent with Indian consumer protection requirements that apply to that kind of transaction at that time.
When using HAULS, you agree not to:
Once the extension is checking prices, any price shown as historical, a “low,” or part of a discount comparison will be a price observed by HAULSthrough its own supported sources, over the period HAULS was actually watching it. It is not a claim about a product’s complete sale history everywhere it has ever been sold, and it is never described as the “lowest price ever.”
Discount analysis compares prices HAULS has observed over time. It does not claim to know a seller’s internal pricing strategy, intent, cost structure, or whether a given price complies with any pricing regulation. It tells you what HAULS saw, not why the seller set that price.
Any “buy now” or “wait” style signal HAULS shows is an informational decision-support signal, generated from observed price patterns. It is not financial, professional, or investment advice, and it is not a guarantee that a price will or won’t change. The decision to buy is always yours.
The planned Android app’s barcode scanner is designed to surface ingredient, nutrition, and allergen information for grocery products, sourced from external product databases. This feature hasn’t launched. When it does, HAULS will be an information tool, not a doctor, dietitian, food safety regulator, laboratory, or certification body. It will not issue blanket “safe” or “unsafe” verdicts, except where it is directly and accurately quoting a named regulator’s own published classification. If you have a medical condition or allergy, rely on a qualified professional, not HAULS.
HAULS is independent from, and not affiliated with, any marketplace, seller, or brand it reports on, unless we explicitly say otherwise. Trademarks referenced on HAULS belong to their respective owners. Product and price data may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong, and availability is never guaranteed. If you follow a link from HAULS to a third-party site, that site’s own terms govern your use of it, not these terms.
The HAULS name, logo, and the original content, design, and code of this site belong to Vishwajeet Kumar. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without permission. Product and pricing data sourced from third parties remains the property of those third parties.
HAULS is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that price or product information is complete, accurate, or up to date, or that the site, extension, or app will be available without interruption or free of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HAULS and Vishwajeet Trivedi are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, extension, or app, including any purchase decision you make based on information HAULS showed you. HAULS is a decision-support tool; the decision, and the transaction, are always between you and the seller.
We may suspend or block access to HAULS for anyone who abuses the service, for example by circumventing rate limits or submitting fraudulent signups, or who uses it unlawfully. You can stop using HAULS at any time. To have your data deleted, see the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll update the effective date above and call out what changed, rather than quietly editing the page.
