Diwali Sale iPhone Price 2026: How to Check It Is Really the Lowest

The Diwali sale iPhone price is the lowest only if it is at or below that exact model's lowest price in the last 90 days, after the offers you can really use. A "40% off" tag compares against an MRP, which proves nothing about last month. Run the six checks below, on the same model and storage, before you pay.

Dates: Amazon's Great Indian Festival began on 8 October 2026, Flipkart's Big Billion Days on 9 October 2026, and Diwali falls on 8 November 2026. We could not confirm a separate pre-Diwali iPhone sale from either store.

The 6-step check

1. Fix the exact product. Model, storage, colour and seller. Prices differ by storage and sometimes by colour. Compare like with like.
2. Look at the 30 and 90-day price. Amazon says its price history link, next to the price on product pages, shows 30, 90 and 365-day views and is available in India. Not every product shows it. On Flipkart, use a tracker or your own screenshots. See how far back to check price history.
3. Check for a raised price before the sale. A discount that starts from a price that went up last week is not a discount. Our guide to price raised before the sale shows how to spot it.
4. Work out the price after offers. Bank cashback, exchange value and EMI interest change the final amount. Apple India's own page says its instant cashback applies only to certain cards, needs a minimum transaction value, and that offers can be withdrawn without notice. Use the offer you will actually qualify for.
5. Compare three places. The same model on Apple's store, Amazon and Flipkart, with the same card, on the same day. Take the lowest final payable amount.
6. Check the seller. Choose Apple-authorised or the store's own fulfilled seller. A price far below every other listing is a reason to stop, not to rush.

A worked example (made-up numbers)

These prices are invented to show the arithmetic. They are not a real listing.

The sale price is ₹1,500 above the 90-day low, so the tag alone is not the lowest. But the price after cashback, ₹67,000, is below it. Whether that is "lowest" depends on whether the earlier ₹68,500 also had an offer. Compare after-offer with after-offer.

Only if the price is at or below its lowest price over the last 90 days, counted after the offers you can actually use. A big percentage off MRP does not tell you that. Check the price history for that exact model and storage.

Amazon says its price history link sits next to the price on product pages, with 30, 90 and 365-day views, and is available in India. The 365-day view was still rolling out when Amazon wrote this, and not every product may show it.
